Grant Tracker - Meet the Funders 2011

17 January 2011

NICVA is organising a Meet the Funders event in February to kick start fundraising for 2011. We are pleased to announce the participation of a wide range of funding bodies and social finance organisations that fund voluntary and community groups in Northern Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for members of Voluntary and Community groups to gather information from the funder and also to talk to funders directly on a one to one basis.

The event takes place on 7 February 2011 at NICVA and has had confirmation that the following organisations plan to take part.

  • Arts & Business Northern Ireland
  • BBC Children in Need Appeal
  • Belfast City Council
  • Big Lottery Fund
  • Charity Bank
  • Comic Relief
  • Community Development & Health Network Northern Ireland
  • Community Foundation for Northern Ireland
  • Community Relations Council
  • Heritage Lottery Fund (Northern Ireland)
  • Institute of Fundraising
  • Integrated Education Fund
  • John Moores Foundation
  • Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland
  • NICVA Grant Tracker
  • Santander Foundation
  • Special European Union Programmes Body
  • Ulster Community Investment Trust
  • Unity Trust Bank plc
  • UnLtd

NICVA will also have a number of other organisations available for consultation, including Marsh Insurance, Gauge, NICVA Governance, NICVA Membership Information and the Institute of Fundraising. We expect other organisations to confirm in the coming weeks but the actual organisations participating on the day is subject to the normal degree of change.

Event Date, Time and Venue

This event will run from 4.00pm to 6.00pm on Monday, 7 February 2011 and is expected to be very busy. Please do not arrive without having registered first. Please also do not arrive early as the exhibitions will not open until 4.00pm. For some it may be better to plan your arrival after 5.00pm to avoid the initial rush. The event will take place in NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast BT15 2GB.

If the event is fully booked we will place your name on a reserve list for invitation to a subsequent event should we organise one.

Event Registration

You must register for the event in advance and we are limiting numbers but the event is free to attend. To register contact Georgie Finlay on 028 9087 7777 or email georgie.finlay@nicva.org

Getting here and Parking
NICVA has a number of free parking spaces available for those attending events. Unfortunately these can't be reserved and are available on a first come basis. NICVA's spaces are clearly marked and we would ask that visitors only use spaces allocated to NICVA when attending an event. Parking is also available on Duncairn Gardens and surrounding areas within close walking distance. NICVA is also a short walk from Yorkgate Train Station and you can easily catch a bus from the city centre (no 1D) direct to Duncairn Gardens, or (no 61 and 64) to Cityside Centre (a few minutes walk).
