This Conference organised by the CRC /POBAL Consortium will

• Explore current policy and visionary context to promote peace building initiatives
• Feedback on the review of Peace partnerships work to date
• Highlight the work of selected partnerships making a practical difference on sectarianism, racism and cross border work

Three important points about this Conference:

1. Partnerships will showcase their work, through exhibiting their projects and programmes
2. Discussion groups form the main agenda for the Conference
3. Two project visits will be undertaken in the afternoon of the Conference

Once again there is significant emphasis on participation and learning. Conference participants are invited to take part in visits to local projects in the afternoon. Visit one is to the Alternative Focus project funded by the Southern Peace 3 Partnership at the PLACE offices in Portadown. Visit 2 is to a County Monaghan Community Network project (CMCN) funded by the Monaghan Peace 3 Partnership.
