THE Irish Football Association is supporting a Community Relations Interface Project with young people from the Ardoyne area.
The project is six months long and is supported by both Belfast City Council and the Northern Ireland Children’s Enterprise. It involves a strong educational element with a Community Relations focus and uses sport as a hook to address key community issues.
The Irish FA’s Head of Community Relations, Michael Boyd, delivered a well received anti-sectarian workshop with the participants prior to the group enjoying the recent international friendly against Morocco at Windsor Park.
