The Northern Childcare Partnership small grant scheme is currently open for applications. The scheme supports projects that encourage opportunities to promote international cultural awareness and diversity within childcare settings. Closing date: 4pm, 9 December 2010.

The Northern Childcare Partnership is making available individual small grants of between £500 and £2000 one off monies to fund innovative schemes which will enable children (up to 14 years) to celebrate other cultures and customs to increase cultural awareness and understanding of diversity.

The scheme is open to all voluntary and community group day care facilities in the Northern area, Health and Social Care Board.
