04 April 2006

The SDLP are hosting a conference "A Shared Future - Tackling Sectarianism and Racism, the Political Challenge" on Monday 24 April 2006 in the Wellington Park Hotel.

The SDLP wants to build a society where everybody can feel free to live where they want, work where they want and socialise where they want without fear of sectarian attack or racial intimidation. A society where people can - and do - mix together.

This conference will explore the problems of sectarianism and racism in Ireland and look at positive practical ways in which we can build a shared future.
