`Opportunity Europe and Beyond’ fair and exhibition will take place at St George`s Market on 19 and 20 October.

This flagship event gives visitors the chance to try out new languages with taster lessons in Polish, Mandarin, Romanian and Portuguese; take part in salsa dancing or Bollywood dancing or sample a range of international cuisine. Highlights include the popular Euro Quiz hosted by Pete Snodden from Cool FM, a Spanish speaking play from the Onatti Theatre Company, a Dragon Dance Workshop, a film workshop from Cinemagic and a digital music workshop by WheelWorks. 2010 has been designated the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion and to mark this, there will be a `Unite against Hate Workshop` exploring hate crime as well as an anti-poverty game for students.
