Race Equality Month – November 2010

Race Equality Month has developed from Anti-Racist Workplace Week which the Equality Commission has been running since 2004.

It provides a platform to make individuals aware of their rights and remind employers and service providers of their responsibilities under the Race Relations Order. It is also an opportunity to share best practice and demonstrate your commitment to race equality. Race Equality Month is a call to action to employers, service providers, trade unions and black and minority ethnic groups to organise events, activities or training during the month of November and to demonstrate a real commitment to race equality.
