Grundtvig Learner’s Workshop

NBAA is offering 12 English speaking) Refugees and disadvantaged ethnic minority migrants from Spain, Netherlands, and Ireland, to participate in a Grundtvig Learner’s Workshop in Manchester UK

Remembering tomorrow: Cultural heritage: Reinforcing links between education and working life

Dates of Residency: Arrival October 20th Depart October 30th 2010

Main activities Programme: Drumming, painting, drama, and photography. Social outings to theatres, museums, and points of historical history linked to migration from Africa, the Caribbean, and South Asia.

The project is built on the SMART principal in order for the learners to reconnect with many aspects of their culture through the (re) learning of “Soft Skills” and “Life Skills” Then they will be able to share this rekindled knowledge within their new homeland, to see that their skills and culture have value and worth and thereby enhance their own sense of self achievement

 Please note the deadline date September 17th and apply as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

(Age range from 18 years no upper limit.)
