Response to Victims and Survivors Service Consultation

15 October 2009

Since 2002, CRC has made a strong and specific organisational commitment to the future of those who suffered most directly from politically related violence in Ireland. CRC core funds 47 groups and in addition also supports up to 100 groups in their project/programme work. Since 2002, CRC has acted as the Intermediate Funding Body for groups working with victims and survivors, and this role, in particular, has made CRC acutely aware of the sensitivities and extreme difficulties associated with addressing the legacy of the past.
