SHARED Futures 2

24 September 2009

If you are a school, voluntary or community organisation, or youth work setting, and would like support to develop a creative and innovative project to promote positive integration outcomes for young refugees and other international new arrivals, SHARED Futures would like to hear from you. We have funding from Comic Relief to work with new project partners in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

We want to build on the work by schools and other settings showcased in the highly successful SHARED Futures DVD and resource pack, which promotes the integration of refugee children and young people in school and the wider community (see the SHARED Futures website: http://www.sharedfutures.org.uk/)

Schools, voluntary or community organisations, or youth work settings that are interested in developing projects in partnership with SHARED Futures are invited to apply.

If your application is successful, we can:

support you to plan and develop your project

assist with costs

support approaches to ensure the participation of children and young people

work with you to document and disseminate the outcomes and learning of your project.

To find out more, please visit the SHARED Futures New Projects page where you can find more information, and download an application form.
