Introduction to Islam & the Muslim Culture

Just a few of the topics explored during this one day introductory course.

Following the great success of our courses over the past few years (over 10,500 people have now attended in the UK & Ireland), we are pleased to announce a further course date for the Belfast area.

About the course

The course is specifically designed for Non-Muslim public sector professionals who work with & for Muslims from diverse communities. 

It incorporates a visit to a local Mosque and aims to provide participants with:

 

·          A better understanding of basic beliefs & practices,

·          Information regarding the background to Muslims,

·          Public Sector Development issues for Muslim Communities, 

·          Group work that will enable delegates to discuss case studies,

·          Implementation of the Race Relations (Amendment) Act and the religion and Belief regulations.
