MWSN Seminar Event

Date: Wednesday 28th January 2009 Venue: Mc Creedy Mill Centre Aughnacloy The Border and Exploitation: the experience and possibilities for action Time: Registration 10.00 – 10.30 am, lunch served at 1.30pm Cost: FREE to MWSN members, £10.00 for non-members (Payable at the event) RSVP deadline is Friday 23rd January 2009.

This seminar event will consider a range of topics including the general issues surrounding migrants and the border, the impact of the border on the lives of Migrant Workers from both a northern and southern perspective, the free movement of people within the EU and case study examples, the common travel area and future opportunities for advancing the rights of Migrant Workers with reference to cross border development.

The event will be of particular use and interest to those groups, agencies and councils working along the border area.
