CRC is seeking to appoint a new Chair

The Community Relations Council (CRC), a sponsored body of the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister, is seeking to appoint a new Council Chair from the 1 April 2008 for a three year period.

Remuneration:        £10,000 per annum – under review

CRC is committed to the building of a shared society free from sectarianism and racism, based on the principles of equity, respect for diversity and interdependence.  In March 2005 OFMDFM charged CRC with the implementation of aspects of A Shared Future.

Candidates must be able to display knowledge and expertise of community relations, corporate governance and public leadership, judgement and creativity, strategic vision and accountability.  The Chair must be able represent the Council in public and in the media.
