Dealing with the Past: Truth Recovery, Reconciliation and Therapy What’s the Connection?

TRAUMA RECOVERY NETWORK  (TRN )  ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND AGM

27TH-28TH NOVEMBER 2007. ARMAGH CITY HOTEL.

TRN will hold its Annual Conference, Dealing with the Past:

Truth Recovery, Reconciliation and Therapy. What’s the Connection?

Armagh City Hotel on 27th and 28th November 2007.

The Conference will focus mainly on a series of Depositions on 27th November being made in response to the Eames/Bradley Consultative Group on the Past for Northern Ireland ( CGPNI).

These will represent a broad range of opinion and experience in relation to the Conflict and some representatives of CPGNI will be present in a listening capacity.

There will also be an opportunity for discussion on the subject at the open forum sessions.

TRN Website will also be hosting a section on the website dedicated to Depositions on Dealing with the past which will go live over the next few weeks.

The AGM including presentation of Annual Report, Accounts and election of Board members will be held on 28th November in the morning. This will be a key opportunity for members  to have a formal say in the future development of TRN as the lead regional forum in the Trauma Recovery sector. All contacts on their  database will be invited to attend with full voting rights to paid up members. Papers will be circulated well in advance of the AGM and more information will be made available to groups as they sign up for membership.
