Rhythm in the City & Belfast Drums - 2 day free music festival

Clarendon Dock, Belfast Saturday 30th June & Sunday 1st July (11am – 6pm)

On Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July Belfast’s Clarendon Dock hosts “Rhythm in the City & Belfast Drums” - a free two day music festival celebrating rhythmic cultures and traditions from across Northern Ireland.

Situated at Laganside’s Clarendon Dock, Rhythm in the City and Belfast Drums highlights include guitar legend Henry McCullough’s band, all Ireland Bodhran Champion Paul Phillips and Ulster Scots broadcaster and musician Willie Drennan’s Nae Goats Toe.

This years’ festival offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy outstanding drumming from many traditions and styles, and the chance to take part in a variety of drum workshops for people of all backgrounds and ages.

From country to ceili, bhangra to blues, folk to funk, Ulster Scots to soul…side drums and snares, jazz kits and djembe, lambegs, tablas, bodhrans and bass, Rhythm in the City and Belfast Drums have it all… and much more…
