“With support from Belfast City Council’s Good Relations Unit, the Northern Ireland Community Relations Council, the School of Sport Studies at the University of Ulster and Newtownabbey Borough Council we are able to bring this world class Football For All conference to Northern Ireland. We have a permanent and highly skilled Community Relations department working tirelessly to make the sport of football in Northern Ireland more inclusive at all levels and I would urge anyone who cares about the future of the sport of football to contact Sharon McKee at the University of Ulster on 02890 366680 or email s.mckee@ulster.ac.uk and make sure they reserve a place as numbers are limited to 300. People who care about football in Northern Ireland should take advantage of this conference and support the event. Much progress has been made tackling sectarianism in football but we all have a responsibility to build on this progress challenging both sectarianism and racism at every opportunity”.
