Core Funding Committee Victims and Survivors Meeting

Matters Arising from previous minutes:
Extension
John Cousins asked those members who wished to continue their services on the Committee to please make themselves known to Carol. Their term will be extended for one year at present and may extend further.
Capita Evaluation Report:
John updated committee on previous meeting with Capita. The report is currently being re-written. This will not affect the timescale of the new programme as all the relevant structures and systems are in place.
Officers Reports
Joan Clements
Joan discussed her report and highlighted that over the next few months both Micháela and herself will be meeting with a number of funded groups' committee members and workers.
Ely Centre
Joan addressed the outstanding issues with the part-time administrative assistant.
Action point: Ely Committee members will be invited to a meeting with Duncan Morrow to discuss issues.
Joan will send out letter to clarify meeting regarding part time administrative assistant and report progress to committee at the next meeting.
Brian Mullan
The committee were updated on Brian's report, there were no issues arising.
Cathy Curran
Cathy informed the committee that there was a large number of applications received at the close of the development grant scheme (Dec 04).
The half day seminars will continue after the conference.
It was agreed that committee members would be invited to these seminars.
Conference Update:
Carol informed the committee that the final details were being put in place for the conference. Expected numbers are estimated around 120. Workshops were being facilitated by groups funded by CRC and the Trauma Advisory Panels. The conference will be held on the 7th-8th March at the Hilton, Templepatrick.
Special Requests
NOVA
Committee upheld officers' recommendation and declined Nova's request.
AOB
Micháela Mackin thanked the committee, staff and Paul Jordan for their hard work in her absence.
Micháela also offered congratulations to Brian and his wife Shauna on the birth of their daughter.
Cathy Curran will be leaving her post in April, Micháela thanked her for work within the Victims Programme.
