PD Committee Meeting

Friday 14^th January 2005

Matters arising:

Programme for Government

Mr Russell informed the committee that a response was issued to the PFG but that it hadn't appeared to make a great impression on the final document. There was a slight increase in the budget for CR but it was unclear as to which specific area it is dedicated.

The committee discussed inviting someone connected to the Review of Public Administration to the next Committee meeting.

Shared Future – Billy Gamble (OFMDFM)

Mr Billy Gamble was invited by the PD Committee to deliver an overview on how Government proposes to deliver a Shared Future in Northern Ireland. After much discussion a paper was drawn up by the Committee Chair which encompassed these recommendations
