Good Relations Poetry Competition Award giving

Post primary school students throughout the district have been invited to write a poem on a good relations theme. Prizes will be awarded to the winning poems in the junior and senior categories by a well known poet/author.

Young people will learn about different cultures through music, dance, drama and language. A lecture will be delivered on ‘The Irish Language and Ulster Scots: A waste of Money and A waste of time?’ followed by a drama based workshop against racism.
