Young people will choose an object which defines something about them to photograph and upload to the BBC website, encouraging them to discover more about the history of their community. A DVD is to be made of the event.

The Centre for Migration Studies will hold a series of short presentations and a discussion before touring the Folk Park to enjoy a gourmet exploration of food from throughout Europe and Asia as well as the museum’s traditional 18th and 19th century food samples.
